Tennessee Flooding – GGG/AI Responds
Unprecedented rainfall in portions of Tennessee has caused massive flooding, with some areas seeing as much as 20 inches of rain in a two-day period. Goodman-Gable-Gould/Adjusters International is assisting those who have suffered property damage due to this historic weather event. Hardest hit are the areas adjacent to the Cumberland River, which includes the State Capital of Nashville, located in Davidson County. Thousands of residents have been evacuated from Nashville, while over 600 people have needed to be rescued from the rising waters. In all, 57 counties have activated flood warnings, with such major cities as Memphis (Shelby County), Chattanooga (Hamilton County), Jackson (Madison County), and Clarksville (Montgomery County) impacted by flooding.
