When much of Tennessee was inundated by record-setting flood waters this spring, victims found themselves woefully unprepared. In an article in the Nashville Business Journal, veteran public adjuster Keith Hayman of Goodman-Gable-Gould/Adjusters International’s Nashville office addressed what he knows best: disaster preparation and recovery. According to the article “A non-scientific online Nashville Business Journal survey this week found that half of businesses responding had no formal emergency plan before the recent flooding, and another 14 percent said they have a plan, but have never updated it.”
