Professional Profile
After graduating from Tennessee Tech University with a Business Administration degree, Kent began his career as the owner of a construction company, specializing in residential and commercial projects, then focusing on roofing and restoration, doing primarily storm work, including in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina.
His insurance career started in 2009 when he became a National CAT Independent Adjuster for TWIA, Allcat Claims, Mason Claims, Colonial Claims, RJMW, and NFIP Direct, adjusting claims for such carriers as USAA, Nationwide, Farmers, and The Hartford. He then became a Senior Claims Specialist with Chubb Insurance. Kent has certifications for USAA, Nationwide, California Earthquake, is an NFIP certified adjuster, and is currently working toward his AIC and CPCU.
Some of the larger loss adjustments Kent has taken the lead on include Arberg Properties, Boardwalk Development, Narsi Properties, Shular Hospitality and Sureste.
