Melinda C. Wharton, Director of Marketing, is a lifelong Washingtonian, being born in Washington, D.C., and growing up in Potomac, Maryland. Ms. Wharton is a graduate of The Ohio State University, where she was a National Buckeye Scholar and received a Bachelor of Arts in Communication with a specialization in Interactive Communication Processes. Prior to joining Goodman-Gable-Gould/Adjusters International, Melinda was the Vice-President of The Conference on the Future of Engineering Software (COFES), and Editor of Engineering Automation Report, where she also wrote a monthly financial article regarding Computer-Aided Design (CAD)-related stocks. In her capacity with GGG/AI, Ms. Wharton engages in proactive and reactive marketing, spearheads digital social media marketing campaigns, uses her graphic design skills to create various marketing materials, develops company proposals responding to RFPs and RFQs, drafts and submits press releases, creates critical communication resources related to company performance, to include case studies, and is also a Notary Public in the State of Maryland. Ms. Wharton is very active in the Washington, D.C.-Area LGBTQ community, hosting a monthly happy hour where the attendees number in the hundreds and was recently featured in the national publication, GO Magazine. In her free time, Ms. Wharton serves as captain of her flag football and kickball teams in various leagues throughout the Washington metropolitan area.
